The Gryphon: 1985

Gryphon cry

A half-mask buffoon-esque tragedy, depicting the story of an ancient soldier who inadvertently kills those closest to him and is sentenced by the gods to eternal life as a caged Gryphon, his only companion, a caged bird. Created and performed by Paul Herwig.
